  • - 230g unsaltedbutter
  • - 200g darkbrown sugar
  • - 100g castersugar
  • - 2 largeeggs
  • - 1 tspvanilla extract
  • - 300g plainflour
  • - 1 tspbaking soda
  • - 1 tspflaky salt
  • - 300g darkchocolate chunks

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Brown the butter until amber and nutty. Cool.

  2. Step 2

    Whisk in both sugars, then eggs and vanilla.

  3. Step 3

    Fold in flour, soda, and salt, then chocolate.

  4. Step 4

    Chill the dough at least 1 hour.

  5. Step 5

    Scoop 50g balls. Bake at 180°C / 350°F for 11-12 min.

  6. Step 6

    Sprinkle with flaky salt; cool 5 min before moving.
